Update: 30 June 2021

We are delighted to report that the harvesting and shelling of our open-pollinated maize seed crop from the 2020/2021 season is complete. The seeds were packed into 4kg bags for distribution free of charge to struggling rural families across Zimbabwe by the MCF and our delivery partners. The final yield on our 10ha plot was close to 53 tons, which equates to 5.3 tons per hectare and is an excellent achievement.

The 12,000 (approx) seed packs - our best achievement to date since the project began in 2016 - will make a significant impact on the lives of the recipients, their families and those with whom they share in their communities.

The Mike Campbell Foundation is deeply grateful to our generous funders for making this vital initiative possible.
