I managed to join the other horses at last light yesterday after an eventful day.  We are now all camped out in the desert.  It is amazing to suddenly join such an amazing group of Namibians.  My friend Pat Retzlaff, who rescued about 350 horses off farms in Zimbabwe, sometimes at night, during the land invasions, is also with us.  His wonderful wife Mandy wrote a book called “One Hundred and Four Horses” about the horses they then took to Mozambique.
